This is an intermediate-level pattern. The knitter should be comfortable following a chart for cables.
Gauge This is a one-size pattern. The stocking should be knit with a tight tension to avoid warping/overstretching when filled and hanging, hence the tight gauge for a chunky weight yarn. Other than this, gauge is relatively unimportant for this pattern.
